Reinhart Fausto



Fausto Reinhart is the son of an Italian mother and a German father and was born in Stuttgart / Germany. 
At the age of 5 he began to play the violin and piano.
By the time Fausto was 8 years old he started singing lessons with Mezzosoprano Gertrud Junkers, teacher at the "Evangelische Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Esslingen".

He later moved to Italy where he studied violin- making at the „Antonio Stradivari School of Cremona" and received professional voice teaching from M. Protti Cremona / Italy.
After this training he was accepted at the „Conservatorio Statale di Musica Nicola Sala - Benevento" at Naples to study singing.
In 2005 Fausto Reinhart was the proud recipient of the "A. Capobianco Scholarship" Naples, which allowed him to study at the "Accademia Verdiana" in Busseto/ Parma, with Carlo Bergonzi.
He finished his studies in 2010 in Vienna/ Austria, at the “Konservatorium Wien Privat Universität” with Prof. KS Sylvia Geszty.

Fausto Reinhart started his professional career at the young artist Program at the „Opera national du Rhin" at Strasbourg/ France.
To date he has performed in several operas and concert halls to include the world premiere of Hans Werner Henze's latest opera "Gisela" at the Ruhrtriennale 2010 in Essen/ Germany with Steven Sloan and Pierre Audi, singing the main tenor part.
In 2011/ 2012 he was invited from Jean Claude Malgoire at the ” Festival Rossini del Atelier Lyrique du Tourcoign” , to sing Elvino in Bellini’s “ La Sonnambula” , the Count of Almaviva in Rossini’s” Il Barbiere di Siviglia” and the tenor part of Rossini`s Petite messe solenelle.

Fausto currently lives in Strasbourg /France and works at the Opera house in Freiburg/ Germany, where he performed Tamino in “Die Zauberflöte” from W. A. Mozart, Il Duca di Mantova in Verdi`s “Rigoletto” and Ismaele in “Nabucco” from Verdi.
