Mansolas Marianna

Soprano


Marianna Mansola was born in Athens. She studied singing and music theater by the bariton Kostas Paschalis. She accomplished her studies with an excellent degree and she attended a two year master class by the same teacher.



Her first appearance on stage was in the Greek National Opera as Denise in Offenbach's "Le marriage aux lanternes" in an Athens Chamber Opera production. After her successful debut followed the roles of Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail/Mozart), Madame Herz (Der Schauspieldirektor/Mozart), First Niece (Peter Grimes/Britten), Elvira (L’Italiana in Algeri/Rossini),Carolina (Matrimonio Secreto/Cimarosa), Taummänchen (Hänsel und Gretel/Hummberdin), Galateé (Die schöne Galateė/Suppe), Isabella (L’inganno felice/Rossini) and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro/Mozart) in the Greek National Opera, Zerlina(Don Giovanni/Mozart) and Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflüte/Mozart) in Thessaloniki Opera (GR).


She is a S.H.M.O competition prise winner and since 2003 has appeared in a series of productions and concerts of the Athens Chamber Opera. She has also appeared in Konzerthaus Berlin where she gave a Mozart recital, singing some of the most difficult coloratur concert arias of the composer, in London All Souls church where she gave a church concert and in Ostrava with the Janacek chamber orchestra.
